The Glendon Digital Media Lab (GDML) has the spaces, training and latest tools you need to enhance your course and extracurricular work. Besides access to cameras, microphones, voice recorders, GoPros and more, the Digital Media Lab offers high-performance computers loaded with editing software, a 3D printer, as well as video tutorials and how-to workshops, and peer mentoring with the Glendon Digital Media Club.
Our goal is to provide you with the tools and resources necessary to navigate university life and make informed decisions.
We can:
- help you take advantage of opportunities for progression and growth;
- help you become comfortable with course selection and registration;
- provide guidance about your major, course load, and degree requirements; and

All one-on-one meetings with academic advisors are confidential and designed to give you the information you need to succeed.

We are here to support you throughout your professional journey. The Career Development Centre helps students and recent graduates navigate skills development and career exploration by way of one-on-one appointments, workshops and recruitment opportunities.

The Community Safety Department's Security Services is committed to keeping York University campuses safe for everyone. All of the Security Services personnel are trained to a high professional standard to ensure your safety and to deal with any incidents that may occur.
The ESL Open Learning Centre offers free one-on-one or small group sessions for Glendon students. You’ll have the opportunity to improve your listening, reading, writing and speaking skills alongside a friendly, experienced language facilitator.
Give your brain a rest as you work out your body. As a student, staff or faculty, alumni or community member of Glendon, you have access to our 55,000 square foot, full-use fitness facility.
